In the Ribbon, from the Collaborate tab choose Copy/Monitor and click Select Link from the drop-down menu.
Select the building model by left-clicking on any part of it.
Next, in the Copy/Monitor menu, click Copy, and select the check box for Multiple.
Holding the (Ctrl) button, individually click on the grids of the linked Revit model. Click Finish, to complete the Copy operation. Then click Finish to exit the Copy/Monitor Ribbon element.
After you have copied/monitored grids in all views, turn off grids in the linked models. Within the Properties browser, click View Template. Within the Apply View Template dialog box, select V/G Overrides RVT Links, and ensure the Include checkbox is checked.
Within the Visibility Graphics Overrides dialog box, select By Host View, under the Display Setting heading.
Within the RVT Link Display Settings dialog box, select Custom, within the Basics tab.
Next, click on the Annotation Categories tab and select Custom from the Annotation categories drop-down menu.
Click the All button to select all visibility categories. Select a box that is already checked, to uncheck all items. Click OK until you are out of all the dialog boxes.
